The Margriet comprises a bioethanol fire insert, glass front and burner. It is at the heart of every fire in the "Vogue Collection", or it can be installed as an independent stand alone fire insert.
The design, safety and build quality have been tested and approved by the acclaimed TUV testing institute in Germany. It has been awarded the new DIN 4734 standard for bio ethanol fires. Features of the insert include:
- Double chamber ethanol burner- ensures no liquid is spilled should the first chamber leak.
-Double metal skinned firebox chamber with air gap -ensures low temperatures on the outside of the firebox,
-Insulation on the rear face of the firebox -ensures a low temperature on the rear face of the fire box.
-Metal protrusions on rear face - ensures that an air gap between the insulation on the rear face and the wall it is mounted on.
-The burner has “maximum fuel level” indicator -making it easy to see when your burner is fully fuelled.
-Glass front - Ensures flame stability against drafts and stabilises the flame in the centre of the insert.
The Margriet comes complete with installation instructions and all mountings and fixings required to attach it to the wall. The unit is secured onto a wall using the bracket supplied. The whole fire takes less than 10 minutes to install and fill with fuel.
As far as we are aware, this is the only DIN 4734 tested and approved fireplace insert in the UK.
A number of various surrounds/fascias can be used with the "Margriet" system, just choose from the Vogue collection of fires and you can be assured that the "Margriet" is at the heart of everyone.
