Prestigious Fires recommends EkoFuel bio ethanol fuel for all our bio ethanol fires. This bio ethanol fuel was formulated specifically for use on bio ethanol fireplaces and in bio ethanol burners.
EkoFuel is made from the by-products of growing sugar-beet and when using bio ethanol fuel, the CO2 production by the fire is equal to the amount of CO2 removed from the atmosphere by the plants while growing. This makes the fuel and our fires very environmentally friendly with a low carbon footprint. EkoFuel is very clean burning with no smoke. It's made from 97% bioethanol with 2% of the fuel made from other alcohols and only 1% denaturing agent.
